Hyundai Venue SUV To Offer First-in-segment Remote Immobilisation

Hyundai Venue will be unveiled on 17 April and will go on to launch next month, it will offer many segment-first features through the Hyundai Bluelink connected car system

Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) will unveil the Hyundai Venue in India and is USA simultaneously in India and in New York. It will be a sub-Hyundai Creta model that will become a rival of the Maruti Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon, Ford EcoSport and Mahindra XUV300. It has been recently revealed that the Venue will come with Hyundai Bluelink technology through which it will offer 33 connected car solutions.

The Hyundai Bluelink system will have safety features like Vehicle Theft Tracking and Remote Immobilization to help with the quick recovery in case the car gets stolen. The system will even offer Speed Alert, Geo-Fence Alert, Panic Notification and Share Destination feature to make sure that the owner of the Hyundai Venue enjoys complete peace of mind.

The Hyundai BlueLink system of the Hyundai Venue is the manufacturer’s tried and tested connected cars technology that is already available on my of its models abroad. It will have a set of 33 connected car features, out o which 10 have been developed specifically for the Indian market.

Production-Spec Hyundai Venue SUV

The Hyundai BlueLink system of the Hyundai Verna will be powered by an eSIM from Vodafone and will work through a Cloud-based Voice Recognition platform from Global AI (Artificial Intelligence) Company. The advanced device will be tamper-proof.

Thanks to the availability of the Hyundai BlueLink, the Hyundai Venue will offer many advanced features like real-time traffic information, satellite-guided navigation and Live Local Search that will be powered by a global online maps provider. The system will also offer an Interactive Voice Recognition feature that can support the local English accent.

The Hyundai Venue has a bold and modern design whose highlights include a Cascading grille and Composite Light. It will look a fair bit like the Hyundai Creta. It is expected to be underpinned by a reworked version of the Hyundai Grand i10’s BA platform and is likely to be sold in three engine variants – 1.0-litre turbo-petrol, 1.4-litre naturally aspirated petrol and 1.4-litre turbo-diesel.
