Many brands including KTM, Bajaj, and Yamaha are soon likely to launch their new electric two-wheelers in the country

With electric two-wheelers now gaining strong popularity in the country, a number of brands will soon be launching new offerings in the Indian market and here is a list of upcoming electric scooters and motorcycles in India in 2023 you should check out.

1. Ultraviolette F77

The Ultraviolette F77 was recently launched in the country at a starting price of Rs 3.8 lakh (ex-showroom) and is the most powerful electric two-wheeler in India. In its base iteration, the bike boasts a peak power and top speed of 35 bhp and 147 kmph respectively. The deliveries of the bike however will only start in 2023.

2. Ola Electric motorcycle

The launch of the Ola Electric Motorcycle was recently confirmed by Bhavish Aggrawal via Twitter. The new Ola Electric Motorcycle will be offered with a powerful powertrain and an affordable price tag which will make it a practical choice for most of the buyers in this segment. More details are yet to be known.

3. Simple One

The Simple One is seen as one of the strongest rivals to the Ola electric scooters but the brand is yet to officially launch the scooter in the country. More details are yet to be shared.

4. Honda Electric Scooter

Honda is soon expected to make its debut in the electric two-wheeler segment in the country with the launch of a new electric scooter in 2023. This new scooter is likely to utilise a swappable battery tech and will be priced aggressively in the country.

5. Husqvarna Electric Scooter / KTM Duke Electric

The launch of a new Husqvarna electric scooter and KTM Duke electric was recently confirmed by the brands and rumours suggest that both the new two-wheelers will be offered with a 5.5 kWh battery and will be introduced somewhere in the second half of 2023.

6. Hero Electric AE-47

First showcased at the Auto Expo 2020, the new Hero Electric AE-47 is currently seen as one of the most promising upcoming electric motorcycle in the country. The official launch date and more details are still not known.

7. Suzuki Burgman Street Electric

The new Suzuki Burgman electric has been spied in the country on multiple occasions and is soon likely to launch in the Indian market. The scooter is likely to get a fixed battery and a chain drive setup. The official details are yet to be shared by the brand.

8. Yamaha Electric Scooter

Yamaha is also expected to soon launch an electric scooter in the country and will soon be sharing the official details about this upcoming scooter ahead of the launch in the second half of 2023.
