The Tigor EV continues the same design theme of regular Tigor and except for EV badges people won’t be able to recognise it.

Tata Motors has given a smaller battery for Tigor EV to keep price competitive as increasing battery will take price of Tigor out of budget for most people. The Tigor EV has a claimed range of 130 km which is adequate for daily driving and city usage along with a top speed of 100 kph. According to Tata Motors, Tigor EV can be charged from zero to 80 percent in just 90 minutes with a fast charger and 3 hours with normal charger. To improve range, Tata Motors has given regenerative braking system.

The electric motor is mated to a single speed automatic transmission and power is sent to front wheels. We can good acceleration from Tigor EV thanks to instant torque output of electric motors. In the exterior, Tata Motors has given EV lettering in blue colour on front grille and EV decals on the side to make people aware that it is not a regular Tigor.
