Upcoming Car Launches in the Month of October 2015 promises all type of cars coming into the market, right from stylish hatches to brute SUV’s.
Festive season kicks off as launches are all set to happen very soon and the month of October seems to be special as the all festive season kicks from this month mid and end dates.
Right from luxury manufacturer Mercedes to our beloved Maruti is launching cars this month to woo customers to the showroom. All these cars extremely promising for their manufacturers. Let’s start with luxury manufacturers.
BMW is all set to launch X5M and X6M in the market to challenge the likes of its competitors which is Mercedes and Audi as they are also planning to enter the same segment with the same kind of firepower into the bonnet. The BMW X5M and X6M come with a twin turbo charged V8 engines that make around 575 BHP and 750 NM to the rear wheels via a DCT gearbox. Launch happens on 16’th October
Mercedes is also all set to launch the GLE and GLE Coupe in India on 14’th October. GLE is essentially a highly facelifted model of the M-Class which has been given a new name and is based on the E-Class platform as the name suggests. The highlight of the GLE is the new 9-speed automatic gearbox which will debut with this car. Paired to diesel and petrol engines which come with the car, expect superior fuel efficiency and class leading power and torque figures.
Fiat Abarth is all set to come into the market after a long wait and demand from the enthusiast. The Punto and Avventura will get the 1.4 Turbo petrol T-jet engine that makes an insane 145 BHP. The manual gearbox comes as standard and on-road prices are going touch around Rs.11-12 lakh mark making it a serious hatchback at a serious price tag.
Chevrolet Trailblazer is on its way to India and we have driven and like the commanding view and mammoth presence and styling. Price is set to start from 30 lakhs for the RWD version and is likely to come in two variants only. Dates roaming around in media reports isn’t true as GM has confirmed with us. We expect it to happen in the last week of this month.
Maruti Baleno has to be the most important product the company will ever launch as it comes in the highly regarded hatchback category which Maruti knows how to play in it well. Prices will start from 5.5 lakhs and will come 1.2 petrol automatic and manual, 1.3 hybrid diesel and along with radar-based technology for safety features.
Maruti’s next offering will be the Ertiga facelift which is set to come with an automatic petrol engine option along with the mild hybrid diesel engine. Ertiga also gets Smartplay and start-stop button and much more when it comes to features. Maruti will raise the prices slightly to make up. Meanwhile, the FAME initiative will help compensate for the rest of the price tag and offer huge benefits to prospective customers.
Meanwhile in other news, Nissan is also all set to make some announcement. Expect a lot of launches before the month of November in India in every single category of automobiles. Industry is showing signs of growth as interest rates are down and sales are already up, which means more sales are expected and this financial year could see the most profitable for the auto industry.
