The Indian motorcycle market is abuzz with anticipation of exciting new launches in the premium segment. These upcoming bikes promise to deliver a thrilling riding experience, whether you’re an adventure seeker or a cruiser enthusiast. A lot of motorcycle brands, from Royal Enfield to Hero, are planning to introduce new models in the Rs. 2.5-3 lakh price range.

1. Royal Enfield Himalayan 450

Royal Enfield is set to unveil the Himalayan 450 on November 1, targeting the festive season. With an estimated price of around Rs. 2.6 lakh (ex-showroom), this adventure bike will introduce a new 450cc liquid-cooled engine, delivering an expected 40 bhp. Boasting a sleek design, including a circular LED headlamp, wire-spoked wheels, block pattern tires, and a tall windscreen, the Himalayan 450 is ready to take on the likes of KTM 390 Adventure X, BMW G310 GS, and Yezdi Adventure.

2. New-generation KTM 390 Duke

KTM recently revealed the new-generation 390 Duke, which is set to launch in India soon. It has received a significant update with a new 399cc single-cylinder engine, packing 44 bhp and 39 Nm. It features an all-new steel trellis frame, replacing the sub-frame with die-cast aluminium, and an innovative curved aluminium swingarm to accommodate a larger airbox and catalytic converter. The bike’s modern styling and advanced electronics make it an attractive choice for riders seeking performance and style.

3. Hero 440cc Power Cruiser

Born from the Hero MotoCorp and Harley-Davidson partnership, the upcoming Hero 440cc power cruiser will be a sister model to Harley-Davidson X440, while adopting design cues from the Yamaha MT-01. Positioned in the competitive 350-500cc middleweight segment, Hero plans to market it through premium dealerships. This niche offering aims to capture the hearts of cruiser enthusiasts with a unique blend of style and power.

4. Triumph Scrambler 400X

Triumph’s collaboration with Bajaj Auto Limited brings us two new motorcycles: the Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X. The latter is set to launch in the coming weeks. It will be powered by the same 398cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine delivering 39.5 bhp and 37.5 Nm. It will also boast features like a slip and assist clutch, ride-by-wire technology, etc., and will have a high ground clearance, making it a potent offroader.

5. Honda CB350-Based Cruiser

Honda’s upcoming motorcycle, based on the CB350 platform, is poised to compete with Royal Enfield’s popular Meteor 350. Expected to launch before November and priced between Rs. 2-2.2 lakh (ex-showroom), this cruiser could retain the air-cooled 348cc single-cylinder engine and main frame from the H’ness CB350. Honda aims to carve out a share of the cruiser market with this exciting addition to their lineup.
