Maruti Suzuki Ertiga has been a very popular product in the Indian UV market for quite some time. The automaker is currently working on the new Ertiga that is expected to be launched very soon. It will arrive as a three-row seater offering seating capacity to nine occupants. Test mules of the new Ertiga have been already spied on Indian roads. Expect the MPV to further strengthen Maruti Suzuki’s grip in the UV segment of Indian car market.

Speaking about its design, the new Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is expected to receive a revised and more stylish appearance compared to the current model. It would sport a new front fascia with sharp laid back headlamps featuring projector lamps and integrated LED daytime running lights. There would be a larger front grille with chrome finishing. Moving to the side profile, the new Ertiga will feature restyled alloy wheels, body cladding, turn indicator integrated ORVMs.

Blackened glass area, chrome garnished door handles will be the other design elements at the side profile along with flared wheel arches. Moving to the back of the car, it will get new design taillights and chrome finished door handlebar connecting the lights. An integrated roof spoiler and a chunky bumper will be there too. Overall, it will appear as a very stylish car compared to the current model.

Inside the cabin, 2018 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga will come as a very appealing car. Expect it to receive improved quality seat and upholstery materials. It will come with multifunction steering wheel, analog and digital display consisting instrument cluster and a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It will offer ample space ensuring much more comfort. So far the Ertiga will come offering a very interesting and stylish cabin.

On the powertrain front, 2018 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga would come powered by a 1.5-litre diesel engine instead of the tried and tested 1.3-litre unit. Expect the motor to come with Suzuki’s SHVS technology. On the petrol front, it would carry 1.4-litre engine capable of churning out 94 bhp of peak power and 130 Nm of peak torque. Both the petrol and diesel engines will come available with manual gearbox and AMT unit as well. It could be priced between Rs. 6 lakh and Rs. 11 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
