The matte purple shade is the new addition to the growing colour palette of Zest 110; no mechanical changes made compared to regular version
TVS Motor Company introduced matte series for the Scooty Zest 110 last May. It is currently offered in four colour options: blue, red, yellow and black. Besides electing to go with trendy colour choices, the Zest 110 also received an array of new features such as dual-tone seat, silver oak interior panels, 3D logo and under seat storage light.
In the vastly competitive 110 cc scooter market, it is important for manufacturers to constantly update their products as part of luring in more young customers. It looks like the Hosur-based brand will do just that with a new matte shade of the Zest.

At the recently culminated 2018 Auto Expo in Greater Noida, TVS showcased a matte purple Zest along with new Nero Brown colour for the Pep+ and they are now featured on the company’s official website. The matte purple shade is expected to reach dealerships soon and would not come at a premium over the existing matte series for Zest.
The TVS Scooty Zest is currently priced at around Rs. 52,000 (ex-showroom, New Delhi). Mechanically, it remains unchanged as it gets powered by a 109.7 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, four-stroke, CVTi engine which is good enough to produce a maximum power output of 8 PS at 7,500 rpm and 8.4 Nm of peak torque delivered at 5,500 rpm.

The powertrain is connected to a CVT transmission and it helps returning a best-in-class claimed mileage of 62 kmpl. The Zest 110 measures 1,770 mm long, 660 mm wide and has a height of 1,139 mm. It tips the weighing scale at around 97 kilograms and the seat height stands at 760 mm.
It runs on 90/100-10 front and 90/90-10 rear tubeless tyres and is sprung on telescopic front and double rated hydraulic mono shock at the rear. Braking duty is performed by 110 mm drum unit up front and 130 mm drum at the rear. The main features of the Zest 110 are LED tail lamps, Daytime Running Light, 19-litre under storage capacity, textured floor board, USB smart charger, etc.
