TVS Star City Plus and Sport get new colours ahead of the upcoming festive season aiming for good sales numbers
TVS Motors has introduced new colour options to the Star City+ and TVS Sport commuter motorcycles. With the introduction of the new colours the TVS Star City+ is available in 11 colour options, while the TVS Sport comes featuring 9 colour options. Introducing the new colour options right ahead of Diwali gives the TVS Motors confidence that, the motorcycles will fetch good sales figure during the upcoming festive season.
The TVS Star City+ now is available in the colour options like Chocolate Gold, White Gold, Black Gold, Black Silver, Black Blue, Matte Grey, Titanium Grey, Oscar Black, Show-Stopper Blue, Celebrity Scarlett and Spotlight White. While on the other hand, the TVS Sport comes with colour options like – White Blue, White Red, White Green, Mercury Grey, Black Red, Black Green, Team Blue, Red and Black Silver. The new colour options will be available in all the dealerships across India.
Both the TVS Star City+ and the TVS Sport motorcycles come as popular and bestselling models from the company in the commuter segment. The 100cc to 125cc commuter segment rules in the Indian motorcycle market. The TVS Star City+ sits at the 110cc segment, while the TVS Sport comes positioned at the 100cc segment.
The TVS Star City+ takes power from a 109.7cc single cylinder air cooled engine churning out 8.3 bhp of peak power at 7,000 RPM and 8.7 NM of peak torque at 5,000 RPM. This model delivers 86 kmpl of fuel economy. On the other hand, the TVS Sport draws power from a 99.7cc single cylinder air cooled engine which kicks out 7.4 bhp of peak power at 7,500 RPM and 7.8 NM of peak torque at 5,500 RPM, and it delivers 95 kmpl of fuel economy. Both the motorcycles come equipped with a 4-speed transmission.
The TVS Star City+ is priced at Rs. 44,300 (ex showroom, New Delhi), while the TVS Sport gets a price tag of Rs. 36,880 (ex showroom, New Delhi). Talking about the introduction of new colours, Mr. Arun Siddharth, the Vice President of Marketing (Motorcycles), TVS Motor Company said, the new colour adds flavor of festive season to the motorcycles.
