TVS is already offering couple of models in entry level segments, but sales are not strong and the company is looking to improve sales with new Radeon as it comes with so many new features. TVS launched Radeon in a single variant and it is priced at Rs. 48,400 (Ex-Showroom), but Hero Splendor+ is offered in three variants with different features as the base variant with kick-start and spoke wheel is priced at Rs. 48,400 (Ex-Showroom). The second variant comes with kick-start and alloy wheel is priced at Rs. 49,400 (Ex-Showroom).

The top end Splendor+ is priced at Rs. 51,400 (Ex-Showroom) as it gets self-start and alloy wheel. The pricing of Radeon certainly make its more attractive as the company is offering lots more features at lower price point and this will appeal to customers in rural areas as value for money is more important for them.

The Radeon also comes with segment first Synchronized Braking technology as it will reduce braking distance and wheel skidding will be minimal compared to its competitors. The company has also given large cushion seats to make the commuter bike more comfortable along with good ground clearance.

TVS Radeon gets side stand indicator, which beeps if the side stand is not disengaged and the company has given USB charging for smartphone, grab rail for pillion with carrier, white day time running lamp and more. The company has also confirmed that more variants will be launched in future.

The Radeon is powered by new 109.7 cc single cylinder engine producing 8 bhp of power and 8.7 Nm of torque. The Splendor+ is powered by 97.2 cc engine producing 8.3 bhp and 8.05 Nm of torque. Both Radeon and Splendor+ are mated to 4 speed gearbox. The claimed mileage of Radeon is 69.3 kmpl and Splendor+ is 81 kmpl.
