TVS performance bike concept could spawn out a naked streetfighter version of Apache RR 310
TVS is again all set to impress us with an all-new concept. The Hosur-based two-wheeler manufacturer will showcase a new performance concept bike at the upcoming 2018 Delhi Auto Expo. While details about this concept bike are yet to be revealed, we can assume it will be a naked streetfighter version of the brand’s flagship model Apache RR310.
Interestingly, TVS showcased the Akula 310 concept at 2016 Auto Expo that ultimately spawned out Apache RR 310, which is the homegrown brand’s first fully faired performance bike. Previously, the brand showcased Draken – X21 concept at 2014 edition of the Delhi Auto Expo. This concept bike came out as the Apache RTR 200 4V production model.

TVS Motors has earned pretty good response with the Apache RR 310 that shares platform and powertrain with BMW G310R. Now, inspired by the success of the Apache RR 310, TVS is likely to bring a naked streetfighter. In that case, the new concept model will be based on same platform and it would be powered by the same engine as well.
TVS has already cleared its intention to grab a good chunk in the sub-500 cc performance bike segment and upcoming concept would reflect that strategy only. Upon arrival of the production version of this concept model, TVS will be able to strengthen its grip in the sub-500 cc performance bike segment in Indian market. It will help the brand to grab a good stake in the highly competitive domestic two-wheeler market as well.

Speaking about the concept, it would share several other components with the Apache RR 310 alongside the powertrain and platform. Meanwhile, TVS is also preparing to showcase an electric version of the Jupiter scooter at the 2018 Delhi Auto Expo.
An all new 125 cc scooter is also on card. As we reported, test mule of the upcoming 125 c scooter has been spotted in the country. So far TVS is all set to showcase a wide range of products and concept models at the upcoming edition of the biennial event.
