TVS Ntorq 125 Beats Honda Grazia In May 2018 Sales

TVS Ntorq 125 beat Honda Grazia in May 2018 sales and the Ntorq entered top 10 sales charts of scooters for the first time since its launch

TVS officially launched NTorq 125 in February at Rs. 58,570 (Ex-Showroom). The NTorq is the first 125 cc scooter from TVS and the company is planning to sell 2,00,000 units in the first year including exports. TVS Ntorq 125 beat Honda Grazia in May 2018 sales and the Ntorq entered top 10 sales charts of scooters for the first time since its launch.

The sales  of Grazia is in-consistent as the scooter broke into top 10 sales in its first month and since then sales are up and down as Honda sold more than 26,000 units in April, 2018. The reason for drop in sales is unknown. Last month is not good for scooters generally as sales dropped for first time in 18 months of constant rise.

The reason for drop in sales of scooters is that the entry level bikes are doing really well. Hero Splendor beat Honda Activa sales even though the best selling scooter registered positive growth.

We can expect coming months to give a clear picture of Grazia sales as it will be settle down. TVS NTorq 125 has been very well received by young customers, which was the target audience of the company. One of the reasons for its popularity is thanks to styling which is qureky and at the same times gives a sporty scooter feeling.

TVS NTorq 125 Launched In India - Price, Specs, Engine, Mileage, Pics, Features, Top Speed, Booking 8The Ntorq 125 is the only scooter in its segment to come with Bluetooth enabled instrument cluster which gives turn by turn navigation using smart phone app along with parking reminder. The scooter can connect to its app via Bluetooth which can give lots of information for the customers about scooter.

TVS Ntorq 125 is powered by 125 cc engine producing 9.3 hp of power and 10.5 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to CVT gearbox. The scooter is tuned for performance as it can do 0-60 kph in 9 sec and top speed of 95 kph. The company has given 230 mm front disc brake and 130 mm rear drum. TVS Ntorq will face stiff competition soon as Hero is planning to introduce 125 scooters in India.
