Launched in February this year, the TVS NTorq 125 automatic scooter has already sold more than 1 lakh units

The TVS Ntorq 125 automatic scooter, which is the most expensive gearless offering from Hosur-based TVS Motor Company, was launched in February 2018. In the short span of being available in the country, the TVS Ntorq sales has managed to cross the 1 lakh unit mark.

As per statistics from TVS, the Ntorq 125 has successfully caught the attention of many scooter buyers, which has led to more than 22 lakh footfalls on the official TVS Ntorq website and thousands of enquiries at the authorized TVS dealerships. There has also been a lot of buzz around this scooter on the social media.

The TVS Ntorq targets the young generation, which, the company describes as the Generation Z. The youthful design, bright colours, and a long list of features have definitely managed to capture the attention of the target audience. To commemorate the sales success and prepare for the surge in demand during this year’s festive season, the company has introduced a new Metallic Red colour scheme for its flagship scooter.

Powering the TVS Ntorq 125 is a new CVTi-REVV 124.79cc single-cylinder, three-valve engine that produces a maximum power of 9.25 bhp at 7,500 rpm and a peak torque of 10.5 Nm at 5,500 rpm. The Ntorq has a top speed of 95 kmph.

The features list of the TVS Ntorq 125 automatic scooter includes SmartXonnect system, a Bluetooth-enabled connected technology system that can be used through the NTorq mobile app for Android phones. As part of selling one lakh units, TVS has introduced a brand new Metallic Red colour scheme.
