Understanding the popularity of the Apache RR310, Akrapovic has come up with a brand new custom exhaust system. The Slovenian brand is a specialist in manufacturing unique exhaust units for stock motorcycles and its presence in motorsport arena is highly reputed as well.
The company began its operations in 1990 and its exhaust systems are used in top-tier racing series like MotoGP and other categories in motocross, supersport, etc. A new optional exhaust system for TVS Apache RR310 has now been made available by Akrapovic and excitingly it increases the performance output of the supersport.
The Akrapovic Racing Line unit has added 2.4 PS and 2.7 Nm torque, resulting in total power output of 36.4 PS and 30 Nm of peak torque. The regular 312 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine is good enough to develop 34 PS and 27.3 Nm, and is the same unit found in the soon-launching BMW G310R and G310GS that can be currently booked across dealerships for Rs. 50,000.
The carbon fibre exhaust system from Akrapovic is priced at Rs. 55,000 (inclusive of all taxes) and is also helping in saving 4.5 kilograms off the total kerb weight. It is available at the Performance Racing Store in Mumbai and no ECU remapping has been needed in the process.
The custom exhaust system blends well with the sporty character of the TVS Apache RR310 and it can be bought by people who wants a little more of the flagship motorcycle in terms of performance.
