Triumph Tiger XCA 800 Launched, Priced at Rs. 13.75 Lakhs

Triumph Tiger XCA 800cc has been added to the Indian portfolio in Adventure Category lineup

Triumph is very serious about its adventure motorcycles in the country. Just after one attempt by various manufactures, Triumph is repeatedly targeting its potential customers with options in this category. Today, the launch of Triumph Tiger XCA 800 proves the fact even more. The Triumph Tiger XCA 800 is more of a off-road-biased machine with electronics that can make it go off-road in seconds.

The features list includes a host of electronics which will make things safer and easier for riders to switch between road and off-road. Options such as Advanced ABS that can be changed between ROAD, OFF-ROAD, and OFF. Traction Control can be configured to ROAD, OFF-ROAD, or OFF settings, Throttle Maps such as RAIN, ROAD, SPORT, or OFF-ROAD, 3 Riding Mode come with a choice of ROAD, OFF-ROAD, or PROGRAMMABLE RIDER MODE, Cruise Control, Advanced Trip Control and a AUX Socket. A larger capacity 650W alternator to power the standard fitment such as heated rider/passenger seats, heated grips, and LED fog lights plus other ancillary devices such as GPS systems or heated clothing has been provided.

Cosmetically it remains with its iconic design which includes dual headlights, tall visor, top mounted exhaust. New colours of Khaki Green and Crystal White on the XCA have been added. Mechanically, it gets the 800cc engine which makes 95PS @ 9250rpm and 79Nm @ 7850rpm
Front brakes are Twin 308mm floating discs, Nissin 2-piston floating calipers, switchable ABS and REAR BRAKES are single 255mm disc, Nissin single piston floating caliper and switchable ABS.

Triumph Tiger XCA 800 model launched at the top of the range and is the more off-road biased XCA. Sitting above the already comprehensively equipped XCX models, the new XCA focusses on offering ultimate rider comfort. The Triumph Tiger XCA 800 is ready to tour with the fitment of pannier rails for the optional Triumph Expedition aluminium pannier system. Overall, kudos to the Triumph for making adventure segment more approachable to the enthusiast.
