Triumph Bonneville T100 Launched in India at Rs. 7.78 Lakh

Triumph unveiled the all-new retro-styled Bonneville T100 at the 2016 Intermot in Cologne in Germany before opening doors for India

Triumph has launched Bonneville T100 in India at a price tag of Rs. 7.78 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The retro-styled motorcycle was unveiled few days back at 2016 Intermot in Cologne, Germany. The motorcycle is positioned between Street twin and Bonneville T120, and it is also the second most affordable model in India from Triumph. In terms of design, it takes inspiration from T120.

Retro-styled Triumph T100 was unveiled alongside T100 Black, Street Cup, and it is much lightweight compared to T120. It features a large round headlamp, twin-pod instrument cluster, a muscular 14.5-litre fuel tank, long flat seat, which remind us about the gone-era styling. The model is available in three different colour options – Jet Black, Intense Orange with New England White and Aegean Blue with Fusion White.

The Triumph Bonneville T100 is built on a tubular steel twin cradle frame, and it gets LED taillights, USB power socket like modern features. On the other hand, to enhance the retro-feel of this motorcycle Triumph has equipped it with bolt-on Triumph badges, retro-pattern chrome mirrors, headlamp bezel. It runs on spoke-wheels, which is another feature increasing its retro-charm.

Triumph Bonneville takes power from the same engine shared by Street Twin. The 900cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine paired with a 5-speed transmission. This engine churns out 55 PS of peak power at 5,900 rpm and 80 Nm of peak torque at 3,230 rpm. The 213 kilogram weighing motorcycle delivers a fuel economy of 31.46 kmpl.

All-new Triumph Bonneville T100 gets technologies like ride-by-wire throttle, switchable traction control, torque assist clutch and engine immobilizer. Braking duty in the motorcycle is done by disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels, which are combined with ABS. Triumph offers a total of 150 accessories for this model.
