Triumph Bonneville and Street Twin Launched, Bonneville T120 is priced at Rs.8.9 Lakhs while Street Twin priced at 6.9 Lakhs
Triumph has finally unveiled the most anticipated, iconic and well received product in the country, the Triumph Bonneville and the new Street Twin based on the same idea. The motorcycle has been extensively redesigned and revamped mechanically and cosmetically to make things look even better than the previous motorcycles. This has been done because the motorcycle did not receive much changes ever since inception of them in the year 2001.
The Bonneville is the most loved product as it is the entry level model in the country. The model get changes to the tank, side panels and headlight to small extent to make it look fresh. The exhaust is clearly old fashion and remains the same with the Street Twin though it gets a more modern looking super bike inspired exhaust. Street Twin on the other hand has completely new panels, fuel tank, seats, alloy wheels.
Street Twin is powered by the 900cc engine which makes 80 Nm of torque and it replaces the old Bonneville as the entry model. and Bonneville T120 is powered by the 1200cc engine which makes 105 Nm of torque from its 8-valve engine at 3100 RPM. we expect to 80 PS of power but they haven’t been announced figures yet. The engines are completely new and the 900cc has been extensively revised that will come in the new Bonneville. Gearbox remains the same 5-speed unit and it gets ride by wire throttle. Both bikes get ABS. T120 on other hand gets an assist slipper clutch with a six-speed gearbox.
Triumph Bonneville and Street Twin have been heavily revised in terms of cosmetic and will offer even more options such as a heavy list of accessories list to choose from. 150 things to choose from a 470 page catalog sounds endless option for a potential customer. Price for these 1200cc new engine equipped Bonneville is really impressive and the Street Twin just takes the cake with the new engine and spectacular pricing Triumph has got.
