Toyota Fortuner and Innova Crysta get many new features as standard equipment

Toyota has updated the features list of Innova Crysta and Fortuner in India as both these models are the segment benchmark in their respective segments. The standard features of Fortuner and Innova Crysta now includes Emergency Brake Signal, Rear fog lamps, LED front fog lamps and Anti-Theft Alarm with glass break and ultrasonic sensor.

The GX variant of Innova Crysta now comes with touchscreen infotainment system, steering mounted audio controls, power folding wing mirrors with puddle lamps, speed and impact sensing door lock/unlock feature. The Innova Crysta is available in four variants – G, GX, VX and top end ZX with all the bells and whistles.

Toyota has given lots of features for Innova Crysta, which includes keyless entry, push-button start, climate control with roof mounted AC vents for second and third-row passengers, automatic LED headlamps, ambient lighting, leather seats, cruise control, reverse camera with parking sensors and more.

The Fortuner, on the other hand, comes with electrically adjustable power passenger front seat as earlier it was available only in the driver seat and Electrochromatic Inside Rear-View Mirror (IRVM). The company has already given lots of features for Fortuner like touchscreen infotainment system, climate control, LED headlights and more.

The Innova Crysta and Fortuner come with seven airbags, ABS with EBD and Brake Assist as standard on all models along with driving modes like Power/ECO, but the latter also gets traction control system and down hill assist along with four wheel drive option. Toyota is offering both petrol and diesel engines with manual and automatic transmission for both these models.

With the latest updates, the Japanese manufacturer has increased price as the entry level model of  Innova Crysta is pricier by Rs. 30,000 and top end variant price increased by Rs. 50,000. The Fortuner also gets similar hike as base model price increased by Rs. 58,000 and top end by Rs. 49,000.
