Toyota Etios Cross X Edition Launched In India With Range Of Features

Toyota Etios Cross X Edition comes wearing several cosmetic upgrades; receives 6.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system

Toyota has silently launched the Etios Cross X Edition in India, priced from Rs. 6.8 lakh (ex-showroom, Kolkata) – nearly Rs. 50,000 costlier than the top-end petrol. It gets several cosmetic upgrades over the standard model and much more attractive thanks to the additional features introduced inside the cabin. With introduction of this model, Toyota is expecting to see a sales boost during upcoming festive season.

Toyota Etios Cross X Edition gets new large black cladding on front grille enhancing the masculine tone of this car. Apart from that, the fog lamps too feature black bezel around them. The body colour lower body cladding at side profile along with the X-Edition badge at C pillar enhance its style further. Besides, the special edition model receives sporty alloy wheels, chrome finished door handles, black roof rails.

Moving to the interior, Toyota has equipped the Etios X Edition with an all-black theme and carbon fibre finish at dashboard, door panels. There is a 6.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with reverse parking camera display at the centre console that delivers a premium feel inside the cabin. On the safety front, Toyota Etios Cross X Edition receives dual front SRS airbags, ABS with EBD, front seat belt with pre-tensioner and force limiter and reverse parking camera as well.

Just like the regular model, Toyota Etios Cross X Edition is available in both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol model draws energy from a 1.2-litre petrol engine capable of churning out 80 PS of peak power at 5,600 rpm and 104 Nm of peak torque at 3,100 rpm, alongside 17.71 kmpl of mileage.

The diesel variant gets power from a 1.4-litre oil burner capable of kicking out 68 PS of peak power at 3,800 rpm and 170 Nm of peak torque between 1,800 rpm and 2,400 rpm. It delivers 23.59 kmpl of fuel efficiency. Transmission duty is done by a 5-speed manual gearbox in both the petrol and diesel models.
