Benelli has displayed couple of exciting products at the 2017 EICMA in Milan and one of them is the TRK 251 adventure bike. Considering the fact that demands for such bikes are increasing in Indian market, we can assume that the Italian bike manufacturer is going to bring this entry level adventure bike in the country in near future. It could appear at the 2018 New Delhi Auto Expo as well, scheduled for February next year.

Speaking about its design, the Benelli TRK 251 comes heavily inspired by its bigger sibling TRK 502. Speaking about its design, the bike comes with a sharp beak-like front mudguard, while the headlamps appear with a crafted appearance. It gets a tall windshield ensuring comfortable riding experience even during high speed. The bike features a fully digital instrument cluster increasing the premiumness, while the wide handlebar gives better control to the rider over the machine.

The Benelli TRK 251 gets a muscular and sculpted looking 17-litre capacity fuel tank that not only enhances the bike’s appeal further, also ensures a long running range as well. It gets black trims on top and at the side profile as well. The low positioned seat offers great control along with comfortable riding experience and there is a splitted pillion rider seat as well that comes spacious and with a stepped up appearance. There are long grab bars at the narrow tail section with compact LED taillight.

The Benelli TRK 251 comes powered by a 250 cc liquid-cooled, four-stroke engine that is coupled with a 6-speed gearbox. The engine is well capable of churning out 26 PS of peak power at 9,250 rpm and 21 Nm of peak torque at 8,000 rpm. Built on a steel tube trellis frame, the bike runs on 17-inch multi-spoke aluminium alloy wheels wrapped with meaty rubbers.

For braking duty, the adventure bike gets a 280 mm single floating disc brake with four piston caliper up front and 240 mm rear disc brake with single piston caliper. Suspension duty is done by a 41 mm upside down front forks and a monoshock absorber at the back with central damping adjustment and 51 mm travel. We can assume, the bike would arrive here sometime in 2018 or 2019 and expect it to be priced competitively.
