Jawa priced the Perak aggressively at Rs. 1.89 lakh and it comes with safety features like dual channel ABS system
Jawa began teasing of its upcoming bikes earlier this month and we were expecting the company to introduce just two models but the company surprised everyone when they introduced three all-new products yesterday and Perak was the most attractive among the three models.
Jawa priced Perak aggressively at Rs. 1.89 lakh (Ex-Showroom) and it looks similar to Harley Davidson Iron 833, which makes it even more special. The highlight of Perak is its design and BSVI 334 cc engine producing 30 bhp of maximum power and 31 Nm of peak torque. This engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
The 334 cc engine comes with fuel injection system, while the 296 cc engine which power other models get carburettor. The tuning of this engine might be similar to other engines as the company is focusing on mid-range performance and torque curve will be linear, which gives ample power across the rev-range.
The Perak sources its brakes from ByBre as front get 280 mm single disc and rear get 240 mm disc brake. Unlike Forty-Two and Jawa Roadster, the company has given dual channel ABS braking system, which will improve braking performance. The suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks at the front and the rear gets adjustable mono-shocks.
The most attractive part of Perak is its design as the front gets round headlamps along with an analogue instrument cluster to continue the retro theme. The company has given bar end mirrors and the single piece handlebar is positioned slightly higher to give a comfortable riding position.

The Perak comes with a single piece seat with the tail lamp placed under it and the rear fender design is simple. The company has given dual exhaust along with minimalistic graphics. To continue the retro theme, the Perak comes with black finished spoke wheels with the 18-inch wheel at front with Pirelli Sports Demon and 17-inch at rear with Pirelli Angel CT.
