1. Royal Enfield Continental GT 650

Expected Price: Rs. 2.75-3 Lakh

Royal Enfield will be introducing two new motorcycles in India in November 2018. These are much-awaited flagship 650 cc twins that we all are eagerly waiting for. The Continental GT 650 is definitely one motorcycle which is on top of many motorcycle enthusiasts list. The Continental GT 650 is a café racer styled motorcycle and can be called a bigger brother of the Continental GT 535 which now has been discontinued here in India.

The GT650 will be powered by a completely new 648cc, air and oil-cooled, parallel-twin motor which produces about 47.6PS at 7100 rpm and 52Nm of torque at 5200rpm. The engine is paired to a 6-speed gearbox.

2. Royal Enfield Interceptor 650

Expected Price: Rs. 2.75-3 Lakh

Besides the Continental GT 650, Royal Enfield will also launch the Interceptor 650 on the same day. The Interceptor 650 takes its styling inspiration from the retro Interceptor motorcycle from the 60’s era. The Interceptor is a highway cruiser and has been designed for long rides. This motorcycle too shares its engine with the Continental GT 650.

Powering the Interceptor 650 is a 648cc, air, and oil-cooled, a parallel-twin motor which produces about 47.6PS at 7100rpm and 52Nm of torque at 5200rpm. The engine is paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The motorcycle gets a decent amount of rider aid including slipper clutch and dual-channel ABS setup which will also be present in the GT650 as well.

3. Hero Xpulse 200

Launch Date: 2019
Expected Price: Rs. 1-1.2 Lakhs

Hero Xpulse 200 is a budget Adventurer tourer from Hero Motocorp’s stable which we all are eagerly waiting for. The motorcycle was showcased recently at the 2018 Auto expo but we are surprised why Hero hasn’t launched it yet. The Xpulse 200 will replace the Impulse 150 and is powered by a 199.6 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, four-stroke engine. The engine produces about 18.4 PS of peak power and 17.1 Nm of peak torque. This is the same unit which also powers the recently launched Xtreme 200R.

The Xpulse 200 could be a cheap alternative to the BMW G310R or the Royal Enfield Himalayan. Reports state that this will be priced within the 1 Lakh price bracket. The Adventure Tourer from Hero gets plenty of exciting new features like long suspension travel, LED headlamps and a single channel ABS unit.

4. KTM Adventure 390

Launch Date: 2019
Expected Price: Rs. 3.50-4 Lakhs

The KTM 390 Adventure is one motorcycle which we all have been eagerly waiting for. The prototype of the motorcycle was caught testing a couple of times already on the streets of Europe. The reports state that it will most probably launch in India in the year 2019.
The 390 Adventure will be powered by the same 373.2 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, FI engine which is capable of producing about 44 PS of peak power and 35 Nm of torque.

This is the same engine which also powers the standard Duke 390 as well. Coming to the motorcycle you can expect the 390 Adventure to get many Adventure tourer motorcycle traits including longer suspension travel, switchable ABS, an upright seating position and cushioned seats.

5. Jawa Bikes

Launch Date: November 2018
Expected Price: Rs. 2.50-3 Lakh

This is one particular brand which has generates a lot of interest and curiosity recently. Jawa motorcycles have already announced the dates when they will be introducing their first motorcycle in India. On November 15th, 2018 Jawa will be taking the covers of their new motorcycle.

Besides that Jawa Motorcycles has also unveiled the details of the engine which will power their upcoming motorcycle. The 293 cc single-cylinder, the liquid-cooled motor is tuned to generate 27 bhp of peak power and 28 Nm of peak torque.
