Mahindra Mojo is likely to be the first motorcycle to launch soon from the list, TVS Victor to follow

Mahindra Mojo

Spoken about for half a decade, tested for three years and now finally given to prospective customers to take around the country is the only motorcycle which is launched before the actual launch happened. Meanwhile the specification which are out are totally irrelevant is making the news for no reasons whatsoever.

The bike is set to make 30 BHP roundabouts and 25-27 Nm of torque. Launch happens in October 2015 and for us it’s not even the most awaited motorcycle, because every single fact except the pricing and specification is out. Pricing is set to be something between the 1.5 to 1.8 lakh mark for this motorcycle.

Royal Enfield Himalayan

One of the most tested motorcycle from this iconic manufacturer the bike is set to come with all new platforms and engines and even a different type of body forms to cater the market demands.

A tourer and adventure bike is on the cards from the manufacturer and we cannot wait to see how this motorcycle and platform performs given the fact that the last continental GT was leaps and bounds ahead of any RE ever made. Price is set to be around from 1.65 lakhs to 1.85 lakhs which does shout value as of now.

Honda Premuim 125cc bike

Honda may call it a mystery bike, but we have pictures saying that it is all new bike with fresh chassis and revised 125cc engine, which is said to be targeted at young professionals. The glimpse of the instrument cluster and our spyshots have made things very clear.Expect the bike to be priced around Rs. 60,000 mark and help Honda to gain more momentum in the 125cc segment where it is dominating worldwide.

TVS Victor

Yes, this is the iconic motorcycle we were talking about before. Victor from TVS is all set to come back with all new engine and chassis that will power TVS to go ahead in terms of sales, volumes and emotions.

Pricing should be under Rs. 50,000 mark and it will shout value as it is set to provide cheap to buy and run characteristics. New technology and features to woo customers to the showrooms will be made available along with refreshed styling playing a major part.

Hero Splendor Pro 2016

Spied by us for the very first time. The Hero Splendor Pro is one of the highly face-lifted coming in from the Hero stable cosmetically. Engines are unknown as of now either the new Hero engines or existing Honda engines will be bolted on.

Prices should start from Rs. 50,000/- and should give a tough fight to Honda’s Dream series of motorcycles. Launch is expected to happen at either Auto Expo or before that as the festive season approaches as well.

TVS Apache 200

Another TVS that has been highly awaited for years now. With few encountering by spies around the nation. The Apache 200 is the most well-kept secret. All though there have been leaks, but they aren’t substantial enough to put the motorcycle together.

What we know is that the bike will be based on the Draken concept showcased at Auto Expo 2014. 200-250cc engine is likely to make around 30 BHP and compete with the likes of Pulsar, Duke, Mahindra Mojo, Karizma and Honda CBR 250R. TVS as always is late to the party, but is coming with a bang.

Hero HX250R

Spied again after its global unveiling at the Auto Expo 2012. The HX250R works are said to be under progress again and the launch should happen in the year early 2016. 31 BHP and lightest kerb weight in segment already makes it impressive on paper.

ABS is going to be standard and HX250R which has inputs from EBR should be a good to ride a motorcycle which will fulfill all purposes. Competition is intense as this category is witnessing foreign brands such Benelli too. Pricing should start from Rs. 1.5 lakhs onwards.

Honda CB Hornet 160R

The CB Hornet 160R has, to the best surprise Honda has thrown in lately. We all were expecting this motorcycle once we saw the Honda Unicorn 160 with a new engine as it would perfectly fit the bill for a sporty motorcycle to fight against the likes of the Yamaha FZ and Suzuki Gixxer.

Making class leading power and torque and comes with fatter tyres, better brakes and revised chassis, the Hornet has to be most fun to ride bikes, which will be coming soon at a price tag of around Rs. 85-90,000

Bajaj 2016 avenger

Much talked about cruiser which also needs an update as it has been there in the market for a long time despite doing good sales numbers. The Avenger is said to be coming in an all new avatar and the engine comes from the Bajaj Pulsar AS200.

Bajaj has been always hinting that the perimeter frame is the best platform they have come across and we think the CS200 is in the making and is the new Avenger. Powerful engine focusing on low and mid range punch and better dynamics and more practicality over the previous Avenger makes it a slick proposition we are waiting to get our hands on.

Bajaj Pulsar CS/RS400

Last but not the least the Bajaj Pulsar CS400 or the RS400 is set to come to market very soon. Based on the KTM hooligans 390cc engines these motorcycle will offer more to the riders as they will come tamed engines and low-cost chassis bits to keep the cost down and yet provide world-class dynamics and performance to the Indian Enthusiast.

Prices are set to start from 1.5 lakh onwards for these almost 400 cubic capacity motorcycles and they will yet again rock the Indian motorcyclist segment with affordability and versatility which has never been offered before at this price point.
