Top 10 Selling Two-Wheelers in November 2015 witnesses a downfall for most bikes as the entire industry takes the hit due to several factors

The two-wheeler sales seem in a bit of jeopardy right now as we speak. Rural areas the place where the most amount of volumes comes every month and every year has been in trouble due to inadequate rainfall and long time running problem of the past.

Chennai rains also affected a lot to the manufacturer in terms of producing and let’s not forget selling in the one of the biggest cities in south India. Hence the two wheeler sales have plumpted along with the end of this year is very near and most people seek new year fresh registration. Hence discounts on cars and quick offers on motorcycles are offered.

All of this has resulted into sales dropping and taking a big hit is the Activa which looses its monthly two lakh units a month figure by roughly 20,000 units. Splendor on the other hand continues to cross the 2 lakh mark with 2.13 lakh units. HF series has seen a low down because the bike is primarily aimed at rural areas and it has gone down from just above one lakh units to 94,704 units. Hero Passion also witnesses a good amount of downfall and reaches 84,000 units instead of the 95,000 units last year.

CB Shine falls down the staircase despite the model comes in. Last month it sold 90,000 units and this month it just did 61,626 units. Bajaj CT 100 also took a dip of 20,000 odd units. Pulsar from Bajaj also went from 70,000 units to 36,669 units and that is half the capacity gone in one shot.

Hero Glamour also took a beating of almost 20,000 units this time and clearly the industry hasn’t done well this month around. TVS Super XL on the other hand saw a minor drop from 65,000 units to 57,000 units. We think starting next year we should see a lot of numbers rising and demands should stay steady till financial year 2015 (March 2016).
