Ford EcoSport has been a popular compact SUV in the domestic market. With the arrival of the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, dominance of the car certainly reduced, but the beefy American vehicle is still in competition with authority. The chunky muscular design, off-roading capability, comfort and upmarketness on offer have helped the Ford EcoSport to become a desired car in the highly competitive market. In terms of design, the Ford EcoSport appears with strong road presence. The thick and wide looking car comes with a muscular and bold front fascia incorporating sharp headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lights. The large octagonal radiator grille sports horizontal chrome finished slats. The front bumper looks muscular with thick black cladding and the fog lamps come with chrome bezel around them.
At the side profile, the Ford EcoSport features turn indicator integrated ORVMs, flared wheel arches, sporty alloy wheels, sharp character lines, thick body cladding, blackened glass area and sporty roof rail as well. The rear features a spare wheel at the centre of the tailgate. The roof spoiler, wraparound taillights and black cladding enhance the compact SUV’s appeal further. Overall, the car comes with a boxy appearance, and being positioned under the sub-four meter slab gives it advantage to be priced low.

The interior of Ford EcoSport is bound to grab your attention with its unusual design. Specially the centre console looks a bit odd. Its design would remind you of a spaceship’s console. Apart from that, the Ford EcoSport gets multi-function steering wheel, dual analog dials and a digital MID at centre in the instrument cluster. The space and comfort level inside the cabin is pretty generous and Ford offers quite upmarket quality materials for seat and upholstery.
The Ford EcoSport is available in both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol units include a 1.5-litre engine and a 1.0-litre Ecoboost engine, the latter one is a very popular unit around the globe. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed automatic unit as well.
