Tata Tigor is another very interesting car from the homegrown auto major that received very good response within short span after its launch here. The automaker has dubbed it as Styleback instead of compact sedan. The attractive design, competitive pricing along with upmarket features have helped it in becoming a very charming and desired premium product. Tata Tigor is certainly one of the best cars launched in India in 2017.

Priced between Rs. 4.65 lakh and Rs. 6.96 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi), Tata Tigor has been designed following the brand’s latest Impact design language. It gets a front fascia that appears similar to the Tiago hatchback. There are sharp headlamps blended well into the black smiling pattern front grille with honeycomb mesh. Two years later at the 2016 edition of the biennial event, Tata uncovered the production version of the car and surprisingly and uncommonly, the brand retained all the interesting design elements intact. Nexon is priced very aggressively between Rs. 5.85 lakh and Rs. 9.45 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi).

This car features a styling that comes as very flowing and roundish looking from every angle. It gets large headlamps with projector units and integrated turn indicator to them. The front grille is black and dons mesh that is identical to the Tata Hexa. A sleek chrome trim runs through the bottom of the front grille and blends perfectly to the headlamps adding more style. Despite being a premium product sold through the brand’s Nexa retail chain, S-Cross couldn’t fetch desired sales result. In a desperate bid to boost the sales, Maruti Suzuki introduced a facelift version of the car in 2017 that comes adding appeal to the car with little bit of changes.

Speaking about the changes, what’s most attention grabbing is the front grille. A large and vertically slated aggressive looking radiator grille is there with heavy chrome garnishing. It is flanked by sharp headlamps featuring projector lamps and integrated LED daytime running lights. The front bumper too received subtle update. Hyundai Verna literally stunned us with its all-new Verna that launched in 2017. The South Korean auto major has not only renewed its challenge to the segment leader Ciaz with new Verna but also made it one of the most desired cars in the Indian auto market. New age styling, premium features, loads of advanced safety measures, competitive pricing, efficient engine are all there in one single package. Verna is surely one of the top 10 cars that launched in the country in 2017.

Interestingly, this car won the award of ‘Indian Car Of The Year’ or ICOTY 2017 beating all the other models launched in the country in the same year.
