9Hero HF Deluxe
The world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer currently has a worthy motorcycle under Rs 50,000, better known as the HF Deluxe or the successor to the CD Deluxe. The entry-level commuter comes with a bit of sporty touch to it along with the attractive graphics that do their part quite well.
The Hero HF Deluxe is powered by a 97.2cc engine that comes linked to a four-speed gearbox. The motor is capable of producing a maximum power of 8.2 bhp along with a peak torque of 8.05 Nm. The suspension setup of the motorcycle comprises of conventional telescopic forks at the front along with twin spring shock absorbers at the rear.
Braking is done by a 130m drum brake up front along with a 110mm drum unit for the rear. The motorcycle rides over 2.75 x 18 – 4 PR /42 P front and 2.75 x 18 – 6 PR / 48 P rear tyres equipped with stylish alloy wheels.
The Hero HF Deluxe has overall body dimensions of 1965mm x 720mm x 1045mm (LxBxH). The bike has respective wheelbase and ground clearance figures of 1235mm and 165mm. The seat height of the motorcycle is 805mm, hence short heighted riders can also find it easy to ride. The motorcycle gets a maintenance free battery that proves less hefty on the pocket when it comes to maintenance.
The Hero HF Deluxe has been fitted with a 10.5 litre fuel tank and weighs just 110 kgs, making it a lightweight and easy to ride motorcycle. The bike is currently priced in the Indian two-wheeler market at Rs 42,432 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The HF Deluxe is available for sale in a total of four variants which are spread across five colour options.
