Vitara Brezza is the first compact SUV from the largest automaker of India, Maruti Suzuki; which was first unveiled at the 2016 New Delhi Auto Expo earlier last year in February. Immediately after the launch the rugged and aggressive looking compact SUV garnered huge interest from the customers, and the car also fetched positive reviews from the critics.
Interestingly Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza is also one of the best selling cars in the Indian market at present. In May, 2016 The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza sold 7193 units, which made it the best selling SUV in the country by overtaking the former segment leader Hyundai Creta.
The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza has been designed to deliver an aggressive tone with its rugged styling, while on the other hand it comes equipped with several interesting upmarket features. At the front profile the car gets thick H shaped chrome bar, projector headlamps with integrated bull horn style LED daytime running lights and clamshell bonnet. Launched in 2015 Hyundai Creta has earned immense popularity in very short span, and in May 2016 the car sold 7059 units to become the second best selling SUV in Indian market next to the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza. The Hyundai Creta has been designed following the South Korean automaker’s Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design language, which is being incorporated to the latest generation models from the automaker.
The design of the Hyundai Creta is upmarket and stylish, at the front fascia the car features hexagonal front grille with horizontal chrome garnished slats, sharp HID headlamps with LED daytime running lights integrated to the clusters, vertically positioned fog lamps, beefy bumper with skid plate and large air intake.
The side profile looks even more muscular with sporty alloy wheels, sharp creases, sharp and sleek roof rails, floating roof design; while the rear gets wrap around trimmed taillamps, roof spoiler, shark fin antenna, chrome door handle bar and skid plate.

Maruti Suzuki Baleno tried its hand in premium hatchback when the Indo Japanese automaker introduced Baleno premium hatchback in Indian market last year. The car is sold through the Nexa premium dealership alongside the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross crossover and the car sold more than 50000 units in just six months.
The Maruti Suzuki Baleno features a stylish fascia with V shaped grille which adorns chrome garnishing, swept back headlamps with projector units and integrated LED daytime running lights, slated air intake, fog lamps. At the side profile the Baleno feature alloy wheels and side turning indicator integrated wing mirrors.
While the rear sports LED taillights and chrome bar. Dimensionally the car measures 3995 mm in length, 1745 mm in width, 1500 mm in height and 2520 mm in wheelbase. Also the ground clearance stands at 170 mm and it offers a boot space of 339 litres.

The instrument cluster of the car shows real time fuel consumption, power output, which is pretty amazing indeed.
Powertrain for the Maruti Suzuki Baleno include a 1.2 litre inline four cylinder DOHC VVT petrol motor, which churns out 84 PS of peak power and 115 Nm of torque, while the diesel variant draws power from a 1.3 litre four cylinder turbocharged Multijet DDiS 200 engine producing 76 PS of peak power and 190 Nm of peak torque. Transmission duty is done by a 5 speed manual gearbox.
Renault Kwid is certainly one revolutionary car the Indian automotive industry has seen in recent times, which is basically a hatchback with a SUV like appearance. The Renault Kwid has also made its own compact hatchback segment which was later followed by the Mahindra KUV100.
Launched in September, 2015 the Renault Kwid sports an aggressive design with muscular front grille and tall stance, large headlamps, and the side profile gets side body cladding, alloy wheels which together make the car appear beefy. The interior is practical and neat, while the top end trim of the model gets a touchscreen infotainment system as well. This car can be called as a micro SUV with its look.
Power source for the car is a 0.8 litre SCe petrol engine which is mated to a 5 speed manual gearbox and churns out 54 PS of peak power and 72 Nm of peak torque with a fuel efficiency of 25.17 kmpl. The Kwid is expected to receive a larger 1.0 litre engine which will be fuel efficient as well, and interestingly, this car would receive an Easy-R AMT gearbox as well, which will make the 1.0 litre Kwid more attractive considering the congested Indian traffic scenario.
Although the Renault Kwid looks tough and rigid, but the car is no way safe, which was proven few days ago in the Global NCAP crash test where Renault Kwid scored a zero star rating, which depicts the car as one of the most unsafe car on Indian roads.
Tata Tiago was launched through lots of dramatic events, as the auto manufacturer had to change the name of the car and delay the launch several times. Designed following the Tata Motors’ latest IMPACT design language the Tiago is the latest hatchback from the Indian automaker with a fresh and sporty design, which we previewed earlier in the Tata Zest and Tata Bolt.
The Tata Tiago gets a smiling front grille with piano black finish, sharp headlamp clusters with HID units, slated air intake, chrome garnishing at different places. The car also gets sharp creases running through the length, blackened glass area, a sleek rear profile. Inside the cabin the car boasts multifunction steering wheel, dual analog and a TFT display consisting instrument cluster, piano black finished center console housing MID.
As power source the Tata Tiago comes featuring a 1.2 litre Revotron petrol engine which is paired with a 5 speed manual transmission and churns out 85 PS of peak power and 14 Nm of peak torque. On the other hand the diesel variant gets a 1.05 litre Revotorq unit under the hood which is mated to a 5 speed manual transmission and pumps out 70 PS of peak power and 140 Nm of peak torque.
There is a Tiago based crossover all due to launch in Indian market, which has been dubbed as the Tata Tiago Aktiv. Showcased at the 2016 New Delhi Auto Expo the Tiago Aktiv looks sporty with cosmetically accessorized appearance. There will be no powertrain change although.
Hyundai Elite i20
Hyundai is known for selling some very stylish cars in Indian market, and one of them is the Hyundai Elite i20. Launched in 2014 the car fetched more than 1 lakh sales figures in just one year. The Elite i20 is a premium hatchback from the South Korean automaker with elegant styling, which competes against Honda Jazz.
Designed following the Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design language the Hyundai Elite i20 is a sporty looking car which seems like an European compact hatchback, and no wonder, it makes the car very appealing. Toyota Innova Crysta
Toyota Innova is certainly the best selling and most popular MPV of India and this car has been ruling the segment in Indian market for nearly a decade. The Japanese automaker launched the new generation Innova christened as Toyota Innova Crysta, which was showcased at the 2016 New Delhi Auto Expo first time in the country.
The new Innova Crysta has earned the crown of the best selling MPV last month and it also fetched nearly 7000 units of sales figure, which clearly shows the car’s popularity in the country. In the Toyota Innova Crysta looks more premium and stylish compare to the old Innova and in the new generation model the car has become very much upmarket compare to the old model.

Mahindra KUV100 is a fresh and revolutionary looking car produced by the India’s largest SUV maker, and this micro SUV has already fetched a large amount of sales figure for the car. In May sales record the car has sold 4446 units surpassing its sibling the Mahindra Bolero, which has been the best selling SUV of Indian market for long time and incidentally the Bolero has sold 4419 units. Post launch in just one month the KUV100 fetched more than 20000 bookings.

Maruti Suzuki Ciaz is a stylish and premium looking sedan which is pretty popular as an economic substitute of a luxurious sedan in Indian market. The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz gets sharp headlamp clusters, chrome embellished horizontally slated front grille, slated air intake, fog lamps, alloy wheels, nicely curved roof line.
The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz was launched initially with both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol variant got by a 1.4 litre engine producing 92 PS of peak power and 130 Nm of peak torque, while the diesel variant received by a 1.3 litre Fiat sourced engine 90 PS of peak power and 200 Nm of peak torque. later the Indo Japanese automaker introduced Smart Hybrid Vehicle from Suzuki or SHVS technology to the Ciaz sedan, which features the 1.3 litre diesel engine combined with Integrated Starter Generator or ISG.
Incidentally the Ciaz SHVS is the most fuel efficient car in India with 28.09 kmpl of fuel economy. The car directly takes on the Honda City sedan, which is also a very popular car in the Indian market. Encouragingly the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz is a pretty safe car as well, as the car has received 4 star safety rating at the ASEAN NCAP crash test.

Ford Endeavour 2016
Ford Endeavour has received an all new model few months back, which was showcased at the 2016 New Delhi Auto Expo and grabbed everyone’s attention with its massive masculine appearance, and by being more powerful looking. The large SUV is a direct competitor against the Chevrolet Trailblazer and Toyota Fortuner which is a very popular SUV in India.
With the launch of the new Ford Endeavour the Ford Motors has seen a sudden rise in their sales figure. In April, 2016 sales chart the Ford Endeavour scored 560 units while the closest competitor and popular SUV Toyota Fortuner sold 509 units.
The new Ford Endeavour looks completely different compare to the old model of the car.
