We have seen plenty of examples of a custom motorcycle with some attractive looking stickers and decals to enhance the visual appeal. However, this particular Yamaha YZF-R3 covered in Tron wrap will definitely draw your attention because of its unique appearance. The Chennai based A-Wraps have skillfully covered the whole R3 in matte black wraps with reflective Tron lines that highlight the edges and sharp creases of the motorcycle.
There is no doubt in the fact that the YZF-R3 is already a sharp looking motorcycle and this matte black finish along with the blue lines has definitely added some more flair to this motorcycle. The best part is that this R3 also features an aftermarket exhaust system as well.
During the daytime, the Tron stickers like we already mentioned above helps in highlighting the muscular stance of the motorcycle while the stickers also get a reflective material which glows in the dark when light is thrown on the bike from any angle. Apart from the side profile the front profile of the motorcycle also features a Batman logo.
The YZF-R3 which is on sale at this moment is available in two colour options including: Racing Blue and Magma Black. This custom R3 with matte black finish does not look too different from the stock Magma Black colour option. The Yamaha YZF-R3 is powered by a 321cc, twin-cylinder, liquid cooled, fuel injected engine.
The unit paired with a 6-speed gearbox produces about 42 bhp of peak power and 29.6 Nm of peak torque. The motorcycle uses conventional telescopic forks at the front and a preload adjustable monoshock setup at the rear. Anchorage duties of the stock R3 are handled by disc brakes on both ends.
A dual channel ABS is also offered as standard for the safety of the rider. The Yamaha YZF-R3 competes directly against the likes of the Kawasaki Ninja 300 in India that is priced almost Rs 53,000 less compared to Yamaha’s dual cylinder motorcycle. The Yamaha YZF-R3 currently retails at Rs 1.53 Lakhs (ex-showroom).
