Roland Sands Design, a United States-based modifier has converted the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 into a classic American Chopper

Royal Enfield is known for making one of the most modification-friendly bikes in the world and this is well reflected by the sheer number of new concepts we come across every day. Right from the classic Bullet 350 to the Interceptor 650, we have seen enough modification on every Royal Enfield bike.

In line with this, the brand’s latest Super Meteor 650 has been modified into an American Chopper by Roland Sands Design, a US-based designer and bike modification expert. The concept came to light after Royal Enfield shared the pictures of the bike on its official Instagram handle.

Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 Modified Into American Chopper: Design Details
Take a brief glance at the pictures and you will quickly realise that the bike looks unmistakably like an American Chopper. The extended front forks, and high-raked handlebar force the rider to stretch its arms, thus creating that classic upright sitting posture that sets the basic right for this concept bike.

The low single-piece seat coupled with the minimalistic bodywork and a clean design which is in line with the narrow front clamp further accentuates the chopper stance. The alloys are finished in gold which is in symphony with the overall black fiery gold paint job on the body panels and tank.

The rear end sits low, however, gets shock absorbers for added comfort which is generally missing in choppers. If we take a closer look, a number of proper chopper design elements are missing but this is something only a keen eye can observe. The rear tyre is chunky while the front unit is slim which sits well with the narrow front clamps. It gets dual custom exhaust and these are bound to produce a throaty note as we come to expect from choppers.

The powerhouse remains the same, however, the engine casing has been played around a bit to up the overall appeal. The twin-cylinder 647.95cc air-cooled engine puts out 47.4 bhp and 52.3 Nm of peak torque. Would you love to see something like this on the Indian roads, or have you ever daydreamed about owning an American Chopper?
