Royal Enfield is known for their retro styled motorcycles and also offers a simple stock analog instrument cluster with their popular 350cc and 500cc motorcycles including the Bullet 350, Classic 350, and Electra models. The Thunderbird cruiser, on the other hand, features a modern instrument cluster that offers plenty of additional information to the rider including a tachometer, trip meters, and a fuel gauge.

The good news is that the Royal Enfield owners can now fit a fully digital ready to use aftermarket digital speedometer that fits exactly in the place of the stock analog instrument cluster of the RE Classic, Bullet and Electra models. The fully digital instrument cluster is presently available for sell-through RV speedoz and is priced at Rs 3,399 (ex-showroom).

The fully digital speedometer displays a fuel indicator which is missing on the stock motorcycle. Besides the digital speedometer, the aftermarket digital instrument cluster also offers additional information like a trip meter as well an odometer that keeps the rider well informed about their motorcycle especially during long rides.

RV Speedoz have also clearly mentioned that the fuel indicator works best with the fuel injected Classic 500 and Bullet 500 models. Unfortunately, the popular Classic 350 and the Bullet 350 owners might get inaccurate fuel indicator readings. The digital speedometer is available with three background colour options including white, black and orange. The one with the white background is Rs 100 costlier than the other two colour options.

The best part about installing these digital instrument cluster is that it does not need any extra holes for drilling or removal of any part. The round digital instrument cluster has a square digital display unit at the centre. This is definitely a good option for those who want to add a cool and functional accessory on their RE models.

However, adding the additional accessory will also void the electrical warranty of the motorcycle. So it’s better to opt for this additional aftermarket accessory on an old motorcycle.
