Royal Enfield occasionally tie-up with custom motorcycle builders to create one-off masterpiece and this custom bike is based on Classic 500 by Inline3 Customs
Royal Enfield is one of the most popular bike manufacturers in India and most of their products are based on retro design theme, which appeal to lots of customers. The Indian manufacturer conducts lots of events to make the community of riders to come close. Royal Enfield occasionally tie-up with custom motorcycle shops to create one-off masterpiece.
Inline3 Customs is a motorcycle modification shop based in Delhi and it was founded on July 24, 2015 by Aseem Singh Pawar. He had already done few custom bikes but was limited with his budget and then he was officially contacted by Royal Enfield to create a official bike for Rider Mania, which is a event conducted by RE annually to unite its customers from various parts of the country.
The Indian manufacturer had some requirements as they didn’t want any changes for chassis and fuel tank as people needed to identify which bike it is. So, Aseem and his team had to take a different approach for design and instead of bobber or café racer theme, they went with Tracker mod which is focused on minimalistic body work.
The majority of changes are focused on rear three quarters and they also wanted to use different materials for the body. The front gets same suspension and wheels but metal parts on headlamp have been replaced with wood, which gives it a unique finish for the bike. The custom shop has replaced stock instrument cluster and given a single pod unit.
To keep weight down, the front and rear fenders are made from aluminium. The most attractive part is copper seat which is just 5 mm thick and they have also given copper shield on exhaust to further improve the appeal of this custom bike. The rear twin shock gas charged suspension is also carried forward from stock bike.
Inline3 Customs replaced stock tyres with whitewall Coker tyres which were imported from US and the price for these tyres is Rs. 80,000. The bike is finished in white and black colour with a red racing strip running on the middle. It took them 45 days to complete the project and was showcased at Rider Mania.
