The 2019 Kawasaki Ninja H2 gets even more power and better hardware to prove that it still dominates the hyper sports motorcycle segment

The Supercharged H2 already holds a reputation of being one of the fastest production spec models of this planet. Those who rode the motorcycle never complained anything about its power delivery however the Japanese manufacturer was perhaps not happy with the overall spec figures. As a result, the updated 2019 Kawasaki H2 which received a mid-cycle facelift recently now gets even more power and top-notch mechanical hardware upgrades.

Before talking about anything else let’s talk about the engine first. The 998 cc,4 cylinder supercharged unit which used to generate approximately 197 Ps of power earlier now develops an insane 227 Ps and the best part is that even with the increased power output the motorcycle still returns the same fuel efficiency figures as earlier.

Now if you ask how Kawasaki made that possible then for your information they have boosted the power output by adding a new air filter while they also upgraded the intake chamber, spark plugs, and ECU. From what it looks like Kawasaki wanted to take the H2 to its extreme.

Besides the updates made to the engine, the 2019 Kawasaki H2 also gets an upgraded brake as well. Kawasaki has installed a new set of Brembo Style four-piston calipers mounted on 13-inch rotors. To give the rider total control of this beast the rubbers too also have been upgraded to Bridgestone Battlax RS11 sets.

Besides all that the H2 also has received few aesthetic updates as well in the form of a new color TFT display borrowed from its sports tourer sibling the H2 SX. As a result of that, the rider can now pair their phone with the system. Besides that, the Smartphone users can even download the Kawi app which will inform them about the motorcycles maintenance schedule, GPS tracking, odometer, and engine modes.

Few other updates to the motorcycle now include full LED lightings as well including the turn signals, license plate lamp, headlight, as well as the taillight. The 2019 model will even get a new “self-healing” paint which will actually make small scratches disappear on its own. The prices for the 2019 H2 lineup has not been revealed yet but with all the new upgrades expect the prices to be slightly higher than the older model.
