Tata Nexon dual-tone colour option is available in XZ+ and XZA+ variants, which comes in both diesel and petrol engine options
Tata Nexon is one of the best selling models in its segment and the company has introduced dual-tone colour options on the compact SUV as it is popular among customers. The roof comes in two colour options – Sonic Silver and Ivory White. The Sonic Silver is available with Moroccan Blue, Vermont Red, Calgary White and Etna Orange.
While the Ivory White gets Moroccan Blue, Vermont Red, Etna Orange and Glasgow Grey. The dual tone colour option is only available on the XZ+ variants. Tata is offering the dual tone colour in both diesel and petrol models. Apart from the new dual-tone colour option, the company hasn’t made any other changes for the compact SUV.
The Nexon is powered by 1.2 L petrol engine producing 108 bhp of power at 5,000 rpm and 170 Nm of torque at 1,750 rpm. The 1.5 L diesel engine puts out 108 bhp of power at 3,750 rpm and 260 Nm of torque at 1,500 rpm. These engines are mated to a 6-speed manual and AMT gearbox options.
Tata Motors is offering the Nexon with three driving modes – City, Sport and Normal as it changes engine characteristics. According to ARAI, the Nexon returns 17.88 km/l for the petrol model and 23.97 km/l for the diesel model. The compact SUV measures 3,994 mm length, 1,811 mm width, 1,607 mm height.
The ground clearance of Nexon is 210 mm, which is impressive and it will help the compact SUV to tackle bad roads. One of the stands out feature of the Nexon is its design theme, which looks like a concept model. The front gets the black-finished grille with big headlamps along with a new bumper with integrated fog lamps.
The rear comes with new tail lamps while the interior is also modern as the centre console gets a tablet-like touch screen infotainment system, which comes with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The compact SUV gets features like climate control, alloy wheels, electronically controlled mirrors, reverse camera with parking sensors and more.
