Tata-Hexa

Tata Hexa white spotted undisguised, seems to be the final production model as the brand gears up for the launch by the end of 2016

Tata Hexa was revealed during the Auto Expo 2016 and it will replace Tata Aria which didn’t bring in enough profits for the company. The vehicle is 4,764 mm in length, 1,895 mm in width and has a height of 1,780 mm. The wheelbase of the new Tata Hexa is said to be around 2,850 mm.

The SUVs that were spotted seemed to be the final production models where the black mule featured alloy wheels, LED daytime running headlight and body colored ORVMs whereas the white mule lacked these features.

The upcoming Tata Hexa will use the 2.2-litre VARICOR 400 diesel engine that is capable of producing 156 PS and 400 Nm. Currently it is being said that the vehicle will feature a 6 speed transmission. The delay in the launch is due to the ban on diesel vehicles above 2000cc in Delhi and NCR.

Mahindra has managed to overcome it and they launched the Mahindra XUV500 1.99cc, but is Tata thinking on the same lines? Only time will tell. The 2017 Tata Hexa is said to be fitted with excellent features and the top end variants will come loaded with equipment like Electronic Stability Program and 6 Seat configurations
