Tata Harrier facelift gets a host of revisions inside and out as it is available in Smart, Pure, Adventure and Fearless trim levels
Following the launch of the facelifted Nexon and Nexon EV, Tata Motors has today introduced the heavily revised Harrier in India and it carries a starting price of Rs. 15.49 lakh. It goes all the way up to Rs. 24.49 lakh for the range-topping model (ex-showroom, introductory). The facelifted Harrier is accompanied by its three-row sibling, the Safari facelift.
With no performance changes, the updated Tata Harrier has been made available with the familiar 2.0L four-cylinder Kryotec four-cylinder diesel engine, developing a maximum power output of 170 PS and 350 Nm of peak torque. The powertrain is mated to a six-speed manual transmission as standard while a six-speed torque converter automatic transmission with paddle shifters comes as an option.
In a similar fashion to the updated Nexon, the new Harrier is sold across four trims namely Smart, Pure, Adventure and Fearless and there are multiple optional packages. The AT is available only from the Adventure+ variant. The Smart (O) is offered with features such as
LED headlights and tail lights, LED DRLs, 17-inch alloy wheels, six airbags, TPMS, ESP, ABS with EBD, and three-point seatbelts with reminders in all seats.

The Tata Harrier Pure (O) is available with a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen with wireless connectivity options, a 10.25-inch digital cluster, six-speaker audio, reversing camera, etc. Moving up the order, the five-seater gains a slew of new features and technologies pertaining to comfort, convenience, safety and entertainment compared to the old model.
Some of the highlights are a larger 12.3-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, a 360-degree camera system, dual-zone auto AC, powered driver seat with ventilation, ambient lighting, memory and welcome function, powered front passenger seat with ventilation, animated LED DRLs at the front and rear, 9-speaker JBL audio, seven airbags (in Fearless+ trim), ADAS, gesture-controlled powered liftgate, emergency and breakdown call assist, and so on.

The safety features list comprises six airbags, hill hold control, traction control, anti-lock brakes with EBD, rollover mitigation, corner stability control, after-impact braking, panic brake alert, and perimetric alarm system and ISOFIX child seat mounts as standard. The Dark Edition can be had in Adventure+, Fearless and Fearless+ trims and gets 19-inch alloy wheels along with darkened visual updates and interior changes.
The interior has received updates to the dashboard and centre console while the existence of a new four-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo, capacitive controls for AC, use of more premium surface materials and trims further elevate its overall appeal. The thoroughly redesigned exterior takes inspiration from the Harrier EV concept as the new front fascia with a revised split headlamp cluster, horizontal LED light bar, new bumper, connected LED tail lamps and new colour schemes add to the flair.
