Tata Motors has gained immense popularity in the recent times in the Indian market, especially after the launch of their new age vehicles starting from the Tiago. Last month, Tata launched the all-new Harrier, which attracted a lot of attention and appreciation from customers.

The company will soon launch many all-new products in the market, and quite a few will be launched this year. Tata will showcase four all-new products at Geneva, including the 45X EV. Tata has been testing the 45X under heavy camouflage on the Indian roads for a long time now.

The 45X concept was first showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo, and it pulled a lot of crowds. The 45X will take on the rivals like Maruti Suzuki Baleno and Hyundai Elite i20 in the market. It will be first premium hatchback from the brand. The future of mobility is expected to be driven by electric vehicles, and Tata Motors is already working towards it. Later, Tata won a bid to supply electric Tigor to the government agency ESSL. Tata also offers the Tigor EV to the public through Zoomcar collaboration recently. Later this year, Tata is expected to offer the Tiago EV and the Tigor EV in the official showrooms.

Tata has not revealed any information about the vehicle’s range and kind of battery it will use yet. The 45X EV could look precisely similar to the regular production version of the premium hatchback but come with different badges. It will be identical to what Tata has followed with the Tiago EV and the Tigor EV in the Indian market.

The 45X EV is expected to offer a long range and will come with a host of futuristic features too. Tata showcased the eVision concept at the previous edition of the Geneva Motor Show. The 45X may get a few features borrowed from the futuristic electric sedan too. Tata will launch the production version of the regular 45X in the Indian market later this year.
