The upcoming fully faired Suzuki Gixxer 250cc will most probably take its styling cues from the smaller Gixxer 150 SF
We have already reported earlier that Suzuki is all set to launch their newest quarter-litre offering on 20th May. The upcoming motorcycle will be Suzuki’s first fully faired offering in this segment that will rival directly against the likes of the TVS Apache RR 310, Honda CBR 250, Bajaj Pulsar RS200 and the Yamaha Fazer 250.
Although Suzuki is yet to announce the name of their upcoming motorcycle officially but few reports online suggest that it will most probably be christened as the Gixxer 250. The soon to be launched fully faired 250cc offering will also get plenty of modern features including a full LED headlamp, LED taillamp, a dual tip exhaust muffler, etc.
The motorcycle will be powered by a single-cylinder, oil-cooled, 4-valve engine that will generate around 26.5 Bhp of peak power. Suzuki will also offer three choices of colors-grey, silver and blue initially. The fully faired 250cc offering will also feature an all-digital information cluster that will provide plenty of information to the rider.
There is also a possibility that the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer might also add features like Bluetooth-connectivity for the smartphones as well. As far s the suspension setup is concerned to expect the upcoming Suzuki full faired motorcycle to feature a USD fork setup at the front and a pre-load adjustable monoshock unit at the rear.
However, there is also a fair chance that Suzuki might offer a conventional telescopic fork towards the front to keep the price competitive. Suzuki will rely on disc brakes towards both front and rear to bring the motorcycle to a halt. A dual channel ABS will also be offered as standard with the motorcycle for the safety of the rider.
Although the Suzuki Gixxer 250 will get a sporty appearance but the flat handlebar and well-positioned footpeg will help give the rider a more relaxed riding posture. This will help Suzuki attract the attention of a wider range of buyers. Expect the soon to be launched Gixxer 250 price to also be competitive and at par with its closest rivals.
