Suzuki Reveals GSX-S1000 Carbon and GSX-S1000F Tour Special Edition for UK

The special edition bikes will be available in MotoGP Blue, Red and Black contrast colour schemes

Japanese automaker Suzuki has announced two all new special edition bikes for the UK market. These are the Suzuki GSX-S1000 Carbon and GSX-S1000F Tour. The company has already revealed both the bikes, and these will be available in the authorized dealerships from August onwards.

The Suzuki GSX-S1000 Carbon gets a price tag of £ 9,499, equivalent to Rs. 8.37 lakhs. The ABS variant comes at £9,999, equivalent to Rs. 8.81 lakhs. On the other hand the GSX-S1000F Tour comes at £10,299 equivalent to Rs. 9.08 lakhs. Both the bikes will be available in two different colour schemes. These are Suzuki’s signature MotoGP Blue and Red and Black contrast.

On the design front both the bikes look aggressive. The MotoGP Blue variant comes with flurocent yellow body graphics. Also it sports flurocent yellow wheel tape enhancing the sporty appeal. Among the equipments, this bike features Brembo monobloc brake calipers and carbon accessory kit. The carbon accessory kit includes clutch cover, crankcase cover and rear hugger.

On the other hand the Red and Black contrast painted variant sports red Brembo brake calipers, white body graphics and red wheel tape matching the body paint. It also comes with the carbon accessory kit comprising same equipments.

Talking about the GSX-S1000F Tour special edition model, it sports a 15 litre tank bag and a 12 litre tail pack. The front screen at the cowl comes longer. Also it features heated grips and silver body graphics. Both the bikes come offering riding comfort and characteristics which make them stand out in the crowd.

Suzuki introduced the GSX-S1000 in 2015. It gets power from a 999 cc liquid cooled four stroke inline four cylinder engine. The engine is mated to a 6 speed transmission. The special edition comes sharing the powertrain with the GSX-R1000 K5 model. Therefore the engine is a 998.6 cc liquid cooled four cylinder four stroke engine. It churns out 147.3 hp of peak power and 102.2 Nm of peak torque. It comes with a top speed of 286 kmph.
