Suzuki Gixxer SP and Suzuki Gixxer SF SP special editions are priced at Rs. 80,726 and Rs. 88,857 (ex showroom, Delhi) respectively

Suzuki Gixxer SP Special edition has been launched in India with both the naked Gixxer and faired Gixxer SF. The SP special edition models of the Gixxer and Gixxer SF comes priced at Rs. 80,726 (ex showroom, New Delhi) and Rs. 88,857 (ex showroom, New Delhi) respectively. The SP special edition models come in limited numbers, and these models feature some cosmetic updates to give the bikes an even sportier and distinctive look.

Both the Suzuki Gixxer SP and Gixxer SF SP come donning an exclusive Matte Fibroin grey and Glass Sparkle Black combination exterior paint. Apart from that the special edition models come featuring race flag body graphics and SP logo, while the seats come donning maroon colour; and the bikes also come sporting clear lens LED taillights. The black wheel rims also sport red pin stripes; which altogether makes the special edition models more aggressive and sportier compared to the regular models.

Apart from these cosmetic updates, the special edition models are identical to the regular Gixxer and Gixxer SF. The Gixxer comes with a 135 kg of kerb weight, while its faired version comes 4 kg heavier. Dimensionally, the Gixxer and the Gixxer SF measures 2,050 mm in length, 785 mm in width, a wheelbase of 1,330 mm and 160 mm of ground clearance as well. The height of Gixxer is 1,030 mm, while the faired Gixxer SF comes with 1,085 mm of height.

On the power train front the Suzuki Gixxer SP special edition retains the same engine like the regular model. It takes power from the 154.9 cc single cylinder carbureted engine mated to a five speed transmission and churns out 14.8 PS of peak power at 8.000 rpm and 14 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm.

Both the bikes run on 17 inch black alloy wheels, wrapped with 110/80 tyres at front and 140/60R tyres at rear. Both the bikes come built on a tubular steel frame and on suspension front they come with telescopic fork at front and monoshock absorbers at rear. A 266 mm disc and a 240 mm disc do the braking duty at front and rear wheels respectively.
