Suzuki Access Special Edition is expected to featuring some cosmetic updates

Suzuki Motorcycles India is launching an all new special edition of the Access 125 scooter in India on 9th September. The company launched the new 2016 Suzuki Access 125 earlier this year after being showcased at 2016 New Delhi Auto Expo, and the new model is being sold at Rs. 53,887 (ex showroom, Delhi).

Expect the upcoming special edition model to come featuring new colour or body decals. Also the special edition might come sporting some other cosmetic updates as well. The Suzuki Access 125 comes with a retro and classic look blended to the modern appeal. Any mechanical changes are very unlikely for the upcoming special edition.

The Suzuki Access is built on a lightweight platform, which significantly helps to improve the fuel economy. The scooter comes with a bit squarish headlamp with chrome highlight, larger vertically positioned turn indicators on the front cowl. Also other features include new mudguard, chrome garnished exhaust system, new grab rail, optional DC socket and single push starter. The instrument console sports analog digital combo display.

Dimensionally, the Suzuki Access 125 measures 1,780 mm in length, 650 mm in width, 1,125 mm in height and a wheelbase of 1,250 mm. The scooter runs on five spoke alloy wheels, and the suspension duty is done by telescopic forks at front and swing arm at rear. On the braking front the Suzuki Access gets front disc brake and drum at rear.

Power source for the Suzuki Access 125 is a 125 cc single cylinder four stroke OHC air cooled engine which comes with Suzuki Eco Performance (SEP) technology. The engine churns out 8.5 bhp of peak power at 7,000 rpm and 10.2 Nm of peak torque at 5,000 rpm, while the fuel economy stands at an impressive 64 kmpl.
