The Special Edition Intruder Cruiser is available with new pillion seat rest and colour option
Suzuki has introduced a special edition variant of their popular cruiser Intruder in India just before the festive season. Prices for the special edition Intruder SP starts at 1,00,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi) while the Fuel injected version is priced at Rs. 1,07,300 (ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively.
The special edition motorcycle is offered with a new Matte Black and Candy Sanoma Red accent color which according to Suzuki helps add a sporty feel to the Cruiser. In terms of additional equipment, the special edition motorcycle features a new pillion backrest. Like the standard variant, the special edition Suzuki Intruder too gets a single channel ABS setup as well which is a good move taken by the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer for the safety of the riders.
The Intruder was launched back in 2017 in India and has received quite a positive response from the buyer’s end. The Intruder is a modern 150 cc cruiser which has received plenty of interesting features like a standard ABS, a fully-digital instrumentation, SEP engine to provide a superior riding performance for the rider.
The motorcycle takes its styling inspiration from the iconic Suzuki Intruder and has received the same kind of flowing character lines, a big bike like shrouds, and sharp twin exhaust which is quite uncommon in its segment. The low seat height and a long wheelbase make it ideal for the daily commute.
The Suzuki Intruder is based on the Gixxer platform and also shares the same engine. The 4 strokes, single cylinder, Air cooled 154 cc motor is capable of producing about 14.8 Ps of peak power and 14 Nm of torque. The engine is paired to a 5-speed gearbox is available in both carbureted and fuel injected variant.
