Skoda Kodiaq’s prices announced for the UK market; will be offered with five engine options
The Skoda Kodiaq large-sized premium SUV will be reaching showrooms in the UK market during the early parts of next year. Ahead of the launch, the prices, specifications and features have been revealed as bookings for the Czech Republican SUV are set to commence from next month onwards with deliveries expected by April 2017.
The entry level ‘S’ variant will come equipped with features like LED Daytime Running Lights, leather-wrapped multi-functional steering wheel, smartphone integration and Front Assist, 17-inch alloy wheels, manual Air Conditioning among other equipment. It carries a starting price of £21,495 OTR (Rs. 17.55 lakh). The engine option will be a base 1.4-litre TSI petrol.
If you want more out of the seven-seater SUV, do not worry as there are three other trims to choose from. Each variant will have different features and equipment depending on the price bracket. For instance, the models coming under the SE grade have starting price fixed at £22,945 (Rs. 18.73 lakh).
The important features included are cruise control, rear parking sensors, dual-zone climate control system, auto-dimming rear view mirrors, rain and light sensors, larger 18-inch alloy wheels, sunset glass, etc. With seven-seat configuration as standard, the SE L trim will cost as high as £28,595 (Rs. 23.35 lakh).

It gets plenty of features such as Drive Mode Select, Alcantara upholstery, heated front seats, full LED headlamps, powered tailgate, 19-inch alloy wheels, satellite navigation connectivity with Wi-Fi and much more. Along with the features on the SE L trim, the range-topping edition models will have chrome roof rails, phone box, Blind Spot Detection, Lane Assist, High Beam Assist, wireless charging, etc.
Customers can select from as much as five engine options with power outputs range between 125 PS and 190 PS. At the UK launch, all-wheel drive system and DSG automatic gearbox will also be made available while technologies like brake energy recovery system and engine start/stop have been provided as standard across the range. The base 1.4L TSI makes 125 PS and 150 PS in different tunes while the top-spec 2.0L TSI petrol develops 180 PS. The 2.0L TDI diesel has two states of power outputs: 150 PS and 190 PS.
