The Skoda Fabia special edition accelerates from zero to 100 kmph in 8.8 seconds with a top speed of 203 kmph
Skoda has launched a new special edition Fabia hatchback to commemorate its most successful year in motorsport. The special edition model draws inspiration from Skoda Fabia R5 and it is based on Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo edition. The car will be available in 21 markets across the world and it will be sold in a limited number of 1,300 units only.
The Czech auto manufacturer claims, this special edition Fabia has been designed with inputs from the brand’s motorsport division. This car is powered by a 1.4-litre TSI petrol engine coupled with a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox. This engine is capable of churning out 125 hp of peak power and the special edition Fabia can accelerate to 100 kmph from standstill position in just 8.8 seconds. This car also has a top speed of 203 kmph.

In terms of design, Skoda has equipped it with several distinctive design elements and performance enhancing kit as well. It wears a Candy White paint scheme with black roof and dons ‘WRC 2 2017 Champion’ label. The performance focused hatchback runs on sporty 17-inch SAVIO alloy wheels that are available in three different colour options – light green, white and black.
So far, the already sharp looking car comes with an eye-catching appearance thanks to the distinctive styling. To enhance its performance, Skoda has equipped the special edition Fabia with sport suspension. Also, its ground clearance has been lowered. The car features powerful shock absorbers to deliver a sportier driving experience. The exhaust system too has been modified.

Not only exterior, inside the cabin too this Skoda Fabia gets several interesting styling elements in order to make the special edition unique compared to regular version of the hatchback. It gets sporty steering wheel, brand new exclusive sport seats.
It also sports heated front seats, electric windows, Amundsen touchscreen infotainment system, Climatronic climate control etc. Safety features for the car include adaptive cruise control, light and rain assistant, reverse parking camera and rear parking sensors.
