The last couple of years had been very good for Tata Motors as the company is finally moving in right direction after hitting so many road blocks. The Indian manufacturer is posting good growth each month, thanks to new products like Nexon, Tiago and Hexa performing well in the market.

The company has lots of products in the pipeline. Tata Motors yesterday confirmed name of its upcoming premium 5 seater SUV and it is christened as Harrier. The Indian manufacturer is expected to launch Harrier by early next year and it could be named as Circinae for global markets.

The company will launch premium 7 seater SUV within one year after Harrier launch and it will compete against Jeep Compass while Harrier is going to be a rival for Hyundai Creta. The upcoming SUV will be based on a new design theme and it is being developed for global markets also.

The company is going to invest $ 1 billion in next three years to develop new products and sustain the current growth. It is one of the biggest investments by Tata Motors in passenger vehicle segment. The Indian manufacturer is also developing a new premium hatchback and the test mule has been spied so many times in public roads.

TATA H5X RENDERED

Tata Motor will officially launch the premium hatchback by festival season of 2019. Tata Motors will add one more manufacturing line at Pune plant, which is going through a major overhaul to make the plant future ready. The company will also invest in Sanand and Gujarat plant to make them manufacturer new modular platforms which is currently under development.

The company has already showcased an EV concept based on OMEGA platform while the first product from Alpha platform will roll out next year which is going to be one of the most important launches for Tata Motors in 2019. The company already has Tiago and Tigor EV models, which will be launched in domestic market soon.
