Royal Enfield MY 2016 likely to be introduced in new colours for Bullet Electra 350, Bullet 500, Classic 350 and Classic 500

Royal Enfield are most likely to add new paint jobs to their classic line-up of models as part of 2016 model year update. This has been revealed by an anonymous Team-bhp reader with leaked images. It’s yet unclear whether the new colour options will be slotted in with existing shades or replace them as a whole. With the move to introduce new paints, Royal Enfield could update the classic models sold just in India or ship them abroad to export markets.

According to the leaked slides, the bikes that will receive new colours are the Bullet Electra 350, the Bullet 500, the Classic 350 and the Classic 500. Thus the Royal Enfield Thunderbird and the Royal Enfield Continental GT range of models will stay put as they are right now. Since Royal Enfield won’t be participating at the Auto Expo 2016 in February, here’s a good chance at envisaging how the 2016 classic models could probably look at:

Royal Enfield Bullet Electra 350 MY 2016:

The Royal Enfield Electra 350 is currently being retailed in three colours: Silver, Red and Black. Two more colours are expected to be added to the existing palette with Marsala Red (a lighter Red shade) and Meridian Blue.

Majority of the components will have the chrome finish as the current model whilst the headlight casing, fuel tank and side panels are decorated with the touches of new colours alongside a new Rexine cover.

Royal Enfield Classic 350 MY 2016:

The Royal Enfield Classic 350 gets five colour schemes currently with Silver, Maroon, Lagoon Blue, Ash and Black. The two new colours for the 2016 models are Marshal Green and Chestnut Red.

The Chestnut Red could come with a tan seat cover and the Marshal Green paint is visible on the side profile, fuel tank and mudguards with black finish on front suspension cover tube and headlamp casing.

Royal Enfield Classic Chrome 500 MY 2016:

The 2016 Classic Chrome is most likely to get two new colour schemes with Athena Grey and Forest Green besides present offerings, the Classic Black and the Royal Maroon.

Alongside new mudguard stickers, the headlamp casing, side boxes and panels, fuel tank and front suspension cover tube will be applied with the new colours.

Royal Enfield Classic 500 MY 2016:

The Royal Enfield Classic 500 could be made available with a new Squadron Blue paint job in addition to the Classic Tan, Classic Silver and Classic Black colour options offered at present.

As seen on the leaked images, extensive application of the new paint will be witnessed on the frame, fuel tank, headlamp casing, swing arm, front suspension cover tube and mudguards as the body graphics will look identical to the Classic Desert Storm 500.

Royal Enfield Bullet 500 MY 2016:

As like the Classic Chrome 500, the 2016 Royal Enfield Bullet 500 could be offered with Athena Grey paint scheme. This could well be the third colour option alongside Black and Forest Green.

With the seat likely to get new Rexine cover, the Athena Grey will enhance the already macho stance of the Bullet as the new colour is blatantly visible on the sides, mudguards, fuel tank, headlamp casing and front suspension cover tube.
