We have recently reported that the Interceptor 650 Chrome was spotted at dealership yard, now delivered to the customer in Banglore

Royal Enfield launched the Interceptor 650 in November last year and during the time of the launch, they have announced a total of six colour options for the motorcycle. The six new colour options for the Interceptor 650 included the glitter and dust option, Silver spectre, Baker express, Mark three, Ravishing red and Orange crush.

While Royal Enfield has already commenced the deliveries of the other colour options earlier, the deliveries of the glitter and dust colour (which is basically the chrome colour) began from yesterday in India.

We have already reported that the Royal Enfield interceptor 650 chrome colour option was spotted at a dealership yard recently. There is no doubt in the fact that the RE Interceptor 650 glitter and dust colour option will definitely help the motorcycle stand out in the crowd.

The other four colour options (silver spectre, mark three, ravishing red and orange crush colour) were already available in stock but the baker express colour (which is basically a dual tone paint scheme finished mostly in white with a dash of red highlight) and glitter and dust deliveries began recently.

The Interceptor 650 is powered by a newly developed 648 cc, air, and oil cooled, SOHC, fuel-injected, parallel-twin motor which produces about 47hp of peak power at 7,250rpm and 52Nm of peak torque at 5,250rpm.

The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox which also gets a slip-assist clutch as standard. It has a fuel tank capacity of 13.4 Litres which provides a decent range and makes the motorcycle an ideal touring machine. Royal Enfield also offers plenty of optional accessories to enhance the overall appearance of and also make the Interceptor more practical for daily use.

The Interceptor 650 tips a scale of 202 kilograms and relies on a 320 mm disc towards the front and a 240 mm disc at the rear for bringing the motorcycle to a halt. The motorcycle also gets a dual channel ABS as the standard for the safety of its rider. Prices for the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 starts at Rs 2.50 Lakhs (ex-showroom)
