Royal Enfield Hunter 350 has attained a new milestone of one lakh unit sales in just six months since its market launch

Royal Enfield has announced that the Hunter 350 has reached one lakh sales milestone in just six months since it made its market debut. The motorcycle is currently the second most affordable model within the brand’s domestic portfolio with a starting price of around Rs. 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom) and is offered in Retro, Metro and Metro Rebel variants.

The Metro carries a price of Rs. 1.64 lakh while the Metro Rebel is priced at Rs. 1.69 lakh (ex-showroom). The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 is equipped with a 349 cc single-cylinder air- and oil-cooled SOHC fuel-injected engine. It produces a maximum power output of 20.2 bhp and 27 Nm of peak torque and is paired with a five-speed transmission.

The Hunter 350 reached over 50,000 unit sales within just four months. Barring the base Retro trim, other variants are available with tubeless tyres and blackened alloy wheels. The motorcycle has become popular amongst youngsters due to its affordability and is the highest Royal Enfield on sale which helps in good cornering abilities.

The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 is also retailed in international markets such as Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Thailand,  France, Germany, Italy, United Kingdom, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand. It was awarded Indian Motorcycle of the Year 2023. The Hunter often beats the Classic 350 to sit at the top of RE’s monthly sales charts as well.

It measures a length of 2,055 mm, a width of 800 mm and a height of 1,055 mm with a wheelbase length of 1,370 mm and a fuel tank capacity of 13 litres. It can be had in eight paint schemes namely Factory Black, Factory Silver, Dapper White, Dapper Ash, Dapper Grey, Rebel Black, Rebel Blue and Rebel Red.

It is equipped with 100/80-17 front and 120/80-17 rear tyres. The Metro variant comprises a 300 mm disc at the front and a 270 mm disc at the rear assisted by a dual channel ABS system, a semi-digital instrument cluster and switchgear shared with its Classic and Meteor siblings, black finished elements, split grab rails and LED tail light.

It rides on 110/70-17 front and 140/70-17 rear tyres while the suspension duties are handled by telescopic front forks and twin-sided shock absorbers at the rear.
