The custom fairing gives the Royal Enfield Continental GT a retro touch; built by Gujarat-based customiser J&D Custom Co

Customising a motorcycle gives the stock machine a very distinctive and unique appearance and while some owners love to ride their stock models, some prefer modifying the machine to give it a completely different look. In our country Royal Enfield motorcycles get the most customisation as it appears. While some customisers modify the entire motorcycle, some prefer to keep the modification minimal according to the owners will.

Here we have J&D Custom Co based out of Gujarat, which has built a front fairing for the flagship Royal Enfield mode Continental GT. With the custom fairing on, the Continental GT sports a retro old-school look that certainly grabs attention very easily. The customisation kit is available at a price tag of Rs 7,190 and this bold-on kit is available in three different colour options – GT Red, GT Black and GT Green.

Not only in India, but in several overseas markets too it has garnered positive response.

Power source for the Royal Enfield Continental GT is a 535 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. This engine is capable of churning out 29.10 bhp of peak power at 5,100 rpm and 44 Nm of peak torque at 4,000 rpm. Currently, Royal Enfield is also working on a bigger and more powerful 750 cc engine powered Continental GT, which is expected to be launched soon.
