Revolt unveiled the RV 400 in India recently the deliveries of the all-electric two-wheeler will begin from the month of July onward
Revolt Intellicorp has unveiled their first fully electric motorcycle in India called the RV 400. The motorcycle will be launched in India next month. The pre-bookings for the motorcycle will commence from 25th June onward.
The potential buyers can actually pre-book the motorcycle via the company website or via Amazon by paying a token amount of Rs 1,000. Although Revolt has not revealed the prices of the motorcycle yet, however, it is expected that the motorcycle will be priced around Rs 1.5 Lakh mark.
The RV 400 is based on Chinese Super Soco TS which is already available in some International market. Revolt is working closely with these Chinese two-wheeler brand for its platform development. The motorcycle relies on an upside down forks towards the front and a monoshock setup at the rear. Braking duties are carried by a disc brake on both ends. The motorcycle also gets a combi-braking system for the safety of the rider.

1. Revolt production facility
The recently unveiled Revolt RV400 will be produced at the company’s production facility in Manesar, Haryana. The production facility is spread over 1 Lakh sq.ft and has an annual capacity of 1.2 Lakh units.
2. Gets Key connected features
The fully digital instrument cluster of the motorcycle gets an embedded 4G LTE SIM which allows the rider to use internet-based features of this bike. The features could also be used via the help of the Revolt App available on both the Apple App Store and Google Play store.
The connected app can be used to find the bike location with map guides, real-time bike information, battery range, and estimated range, etc. The connected feature can also be used to start or stop the bike remotely with the use of a Smartphone. The mobile app will be updated with cloud space for uploading of documents, online payments for battery swap etc later through over the air updates.
3. The bike offers the highest range in Country
The revolt has not revealed the battery spec of the motorcycle yet but according to the officials, the bike can cover a distance of 156 kilometres on a full charge. This is almost double compared to its closest competitor (the Ather 450 promises to offer 55-75 km range on a full charge). The motorcycle has a top speed of 85 km/h mark which is definitely enough for daily commutes.
The company officials also said during the unveiling event that the battery takes less than four hours to completely charge if it is plugged to a 15-ampere socket. Additionally, the battery can also be swapped and is portable at the same time and weighs about 18 kilograms. The battery can be carried inside your home or inside the office for charging according to the owner’s convenience.
In case the bike runs out of juice Revolt will deliver a fully charged battery to the owner’s doorstep. Furthermore, Revolt also has plans to set up a charging infrastructure where the owners can actually swap the drained out batteries for a fresh one.
4. Comes with three different riding modes
The Revol RV 400 gets three different riding modes Eco, City, and Sport+ which actually enhances or reduces the performance of the motorcycle. The Eco mode helps in saving the charge and return maximum range while the sport+ mode unleashes the full potential of the motorcycle. According to Revolt officials, the electric motorcycle has the performance equivalent to any 125cc motorcycles in India.

The motorcycle gets remote start, geo-fencing, regenerative braking system, Bluetooth connectivity, etc., Additional it also gets not one but four different artificial exhaust sound. The rider can choose from four different exhaust note options or even customize them accordingly.
