This Retuned Hyundai Creta Produces 150 PS


Retuned Hyundai Creta compact SUV has the engine remapped to produce 150 PS of peak power output instead of standard 128 PS

Hyundai Creta is one of the most popular compact SUV in Indian market. The car has become vehemently popular in very short span. While the standard 1.6 litre diesel engine of the Creta churns out 128 PS of peak power, this particular black Hyundai Creta comes with 150 PS. How? Let us explain.

Cochin based Pete’s Automotive Products Pvt Ltd has remapped the 1.6 litre diesel engine of this particular Creta. The power output has been increased from 128 PS to 150 PS. No wonder it enhanced the appeal of the already popular car. The remapping itself costs Rs. 19,000. Apart from the engine remapping the Pete’s Automotive has customized the car with some cosmetic updates as well.

The car comes with a stealth appearance. The front fascia gets a glossy black painted radiator grille. The front fascia also boasts two round shaped extra fog lamps positioned at the lower part of the radiator grille. At the side profile the customized Creta gets larger 5 spoke alloy wheels with thicker and wider tires. The windows come in tinted manner which enhances the menacing stealth look. The roof rails have been black painted as well.

The Pete’s Automotive claims, the car’s exterior has been treated with the agency’s special jet sealant and Black wax. This has made the car reflecting, shiny and appealing. Hyundai Creta has recently received three new variants and an extra exterior colour. These new variants are E+ MT, S+ AT and the Anniversary Edition. Also the new exterior colour is the Earthy Brown.

Hyundai India has increased the pricing of its offerings in the country citing the increasing raw material price as reason. The price range has been increased between Rs. 3,000 to Rs. 20,000. The Creta has been slapped with a Rs. 15,000 hike. Therefore the car comes priced between Rs. 9.17 lakhs to Rs. 14.51 lakhs (ex showroom, Delhi).
